Aldrin Colendres built and ran a multi-branch samgyupsal (Korean BBQ) business here in the Philippines. It looked like it was working, until it wasn't.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own Lalamove account?+
Yes, for now. You connect your own Lalamove business account and Lalamove asks you to load credit on it before they issue live keys. We are talking to them about holding one account so you would not have to, but until that is agreed we would rather tell you than have you find out at the checkout. You do not need Lalamove at all to use delivery: your own rider works from day one and costs you nothing extra.
What if there is no Lalamove rider in my area?+
Then you use your own. Assign the order to whoever is doing the run, and the app tracks the drop, the fee and the cash they are carrying back to you the same way it would a booked rider. In-house delivery is the default in Tindahub, not the fallback, because a carinderia with a nephew on a motorbike is the normal case here.
Do I need a Facebook Page for Messenger ordering?+
Yes. The orders come through your own Page, from your own menu, to customers already in Messenger. They do not download anything and they do not make an account. If you do not have a Page yet you can make one for free in a few minutes, and it is worth doing regardless because it is where your customers already are.
Who pays the delivery fee, me or the customer?+
Whoever you decide. Most shops pass the rider's fare to the customer at checkout the way the delivery apps do, and the difference is that the fare is the whole cost. There is no commission on top of it, so the fee your customer pays is the fee the rider is paid.
Do you take a percentage of my sales?+
No, and we never will. You pay a fixed monthly fee and keep every peso of the sale. A delivery marketplace takes 20 to 30 percent of the food; a courier charges for the ride and takes nothing from what is in the bag. Nothing here is charged by use either. No per-order fee, no per-delivery fee, no charge for adding staff.
Why is delivery priced per branch when Unli is not?+
Unli is $3 a month for the whole business, however many branches, because it removes limits on your records and your product list and staff list belong to the business rather than to a branch. Delivery is $12 a month for each branch that delivers, or $14 with Miggy included, because delivery is work that happens at a branch: its own orders, its own riders, its own cash coming back. A second branch doing deliveries is a second set of all of that.
My rider took the cash. How do I know it came back?+
The app knows which drops were paid in cash and which of those have been handed in, and it shows you what is still out at the end of the day. This is the reason the Deliveries screen exists at all. Without it, every shop running its own rider shows a shortfall in the drawer every single day and stops trusting its own numbers.
What happens after the 7-day trial if I do not pay?+
Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked. You drop back to the free plan with your data intact: the register keeps working, and your first 30 products, 30 ingredients and 2 staff stay exactly as they are.
